Descriptions for Each Tip:
Soldering Iron Tip - Type BThis shape is an all-round type that can be used for any type of soldering work and in any direction. It is therefore not only open to beginners in soldering but also ideal for the experienced. | Soldering Iron Tip - Type IThis type is best for soldering micro components such as 0603 because of the very fine tip end. Fixing high-density mounting P.W.Bs such as on mobile phones is also ideal for this type of tip. The heat capacity of Shape I, however, is very limited and the heat may not be adequately transferred to the workpiece, resulting in inadequate solder. | Soldering Iron Tip - Type KThis type has a knife-like shape and is able to solder by applying the tip in three ways: line, face, and point. It is used for narrow-pitch soldering, bridge adjustment, and drag soldering. |
Soldering Iron Tip - Type 0.8DDepending on the workpiece, this type has a shape such as a cone or a column cut at a slant that allows users to pick the cut surface size. It is used for the pre-tinning of lead wires and drag soldering. | Soldering Iron Tip - Type 1.2DThis type has a shape similar to a flat-blade screwdriver and is capable of soldering by applying the tip in 2 ways: line and face. |
Soldering Iron Tip - Type 1.6DIn a slightly slanting position, this type has a shape like a flat-blade screwdriver and is capable of soldering by applying the tip in 2 ways: line and face. It can be used for any soldering work. |
Soldering Iron Tip - Type 2.4DThis tip has a long chisel shape, with the long reach tip end, it is ideal for different types of soldering work, drag, point to point, pre-tinning, and especially line soldering when at narrow pitches. |
Soldering Iron Tip - Type 3.2DThis tip features a chisel tip end, with the large working surface area, it transfers a lot of heat, making it simple for most soldering applications. | Soldering Iron Tip - Type 1CDepending on the workpiece, this type has a shape such as a cone or a column cut at a slant that allows users to pick the cut surface size. It is used for the pre-tinning of lead wires and drag soldering. |
Soldering Iron Tip - Type 2CThis type has a shape like a cone or a column cut at a slant, thicker than Type 2C. | Soldering Iron Tip - Type 3CThis type has a shape like a cone or a column cut at a slant, thicker than Type 3C. | Soldering Iron Tip - Type 4CThis type has a shape like a cone or a column cut at a slant, thicker than Type 4C. |
